Welcome to Charlie's Gourmet Pastries, where we still believe that "butter makes the difference". At Charlie's, we know our success is due to using only the finest ingredients. We use the recipes of our grandfather's father. That's right, four generations of know how which brings that true old-fashioned goodness to every item we bake.

Charlie Hawks had been a baker at Wolfie's on the Beach, in Miami, for 20 years when he followed his dream and opened his own bakery in South Orlando in November of 1971. Since then the bakery has doubled in size in the same location. Charlie's son is a fourth generation baker, carrying on his father's dream.

We believe in using the finest quality products, and because of this our customers continue to come back year after year and now a new generation is continuing the tradition of their youth with their families. Charlie's has been part of many family celebrations.

Through the years, we have received many awards, being voted the number one bakery in Orlando by television and news media, radio and Orlando Magazine. We have had the honor to be selected as the bakery to serve many important occasions and celebrities.

We want to fulfill Charlie's promise to our customers to deliver a quality product with quality ingredients and no added preservatives, thereby having our customers continue to come back for more.
